Alexa Moreno
University of Arkansas
We are thrilled to award Alexa Moreno, a senior chemical engineering student at the University of Arkansas with the 2021-2022 SEE Her scholarship! Alexa recently completed an internship with Central Arkansas Water, where she quickly noticed how few women are in the water and sanitation sector and began to understand the challenges that women face.

Alexa is excited to support women in our sector and has or is planning to speak about the experiences, challenges women in water and sanitation face and the great need for more women in the industry to various school and association groups. She is also excited to incorporate a women in water and sanitation segment into her school's Women in STEM week celebration! Congratulations Alexa, keep being your awesome woman in water and sanitation self!
